Most of the situations depicted in the series could be categorized as absurd, yet many of them are surprisingly relatable. As the creator of the comic mentioned, their “inspiration can come from everyday experiences, observations of quirky behaviors, or even just a playful imagination.”

We reached out to the artist behind the comic series and asked about their work. First, we were interested in what inspired them to create comics. We learned that: “I just want to share my ideas to others. Having a platform like Instagram allows my humor to reach a broader audience and connect with people who appreciate and enjoy the comedic elements of my comics.”

When asked about the recurring themes in the series, the cartoonist shared with us: “As much as possible, I want the working class to relate to my comics. Relatability, I think, is also a comedic element that has a significant impact on a sketch. For the art style, I always try to keep it simple cause I believe the minimal reactions of the characters will bring more humor to a sketch. And also, as the name of the page suggests, I draw my comics before bedtime.”
Lastly, the artist shared who inspires them in the world of comics and comedy: “There is a lot. On top of my mind when it comes to writing clean material, I look up to stand-up comedian Jim Gaffigan.”
