Rebecca Hartman, LMHC, a licensed mental health therapist specializing in intimate therapy at the Hawaii Center for Relationship Health, explains in an interview forBored Pandathat “communication is so important in developing, maintaining, and reviving a relationship. If our communication is unwell, likely so is the relationship. If your partner asks to go to counseling, you go. Period.”
