The 54-year-old journalist and philanthropist made quite the impression as she stepped out with fiancé Jeff Bezos, 60, for the state dinner honoring Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida at the most famous address in the U.S.
Lauren was all decked out in a revealing red corset gown with an off-the-shoulder neckline for the event on Wednesday, April 10. The fiery red Rasario gown, with a price label of $2,300, also had a structured corset bodice with sheer lace in the abdomen area.

Meanwhile, her trailblazing billionaire fiancé stood beside her in a classic black tuxedo, adhering to the traditional black tie standard of theWhite House.

“Such inappropriate dress for the White House,” one commented on her Instagram post while another quipped, “Not a good look for the White House!! Where’s your respect!! Social Media agreeing with me 100%!!!!!”
