Fashion is known to intersect with art in one way or another. One notable example is fashion illustrator Jae Suk Kim, who creates beautiful gowns using watercolors and flowers for his iconic hand-drawn Susu Girls.

Bored Pandareached out to Jae Suk Kim, who told us more about his famous Susu Girls.
We asked the artist to walk us through his creative process, to which Kim replied: “My creative process is a blend of carefully curated plans and spontaneous inspiration. While I typically have a rough idea in mind, it’s the spontaneous additions that truly enhance the illustrations, designs, and overall finished look and feel.”
Working with brands like Chanel and Cartier must be exciting. Therefore, we asked the artist to share his favorite experience from collaborating with them.“Absolutely! It’s incredibly thrilling to collaborate with a prestigious brand that you’ve long admired. Though each project brought its own unique challenges, my most favorite experience among them all was witnessing people engage with my creations and, ultimately, seeing them come to life in action!” wrote Kim.
