Memes have been around for a while and they have evolved pretty significantly. So, it’s unlikely that they’ll just disappear one day. But they do disappear individually. According to a study and analysis of Google Trends, a modern-day meme these days lasts for around 4 months. Back in2008, however, the average lifespan of a meme was nearly 2 years. Alas, in time, they became seemingly more disposable.
