Balancing unsettling and humorous elements is key to the comics' unique appeal. The artist noted, “It’s all about timing and delivery. I like to take something that’s almost too weird or uncomfortable and just pull back a bit, so it’s still funny but also makes you go, ‘Wait, what?’ The trick is to not overthink it—if it makes me laugh and cringe a little, then it’s good to go.”
Sharing their work on Instagram has been both a boon and a challenge for the artist. They observed, “Instagram is great because it’s instant feedback—you know right away if people are digging it or not. It’s also fun to see how different people interpret the comics in their own way. The downside? Algorithms, man. They’re always changing, so sometimes it feels like yelling into a void. But at the end of the day, it’s about connecting with those who get it, even if it’s just a handful of people.”
