While e-commerce has been growing for years it’s becoming harder for physical stores to compete even with big names. The shift to online shopping while larger retailers are grappling with overstock shrinking foot traffic and increased labor costs. Even big box stores are now closing locations or shifting to a more digital first model. It’s a quieter crisis but it’s one that’s reshaping the landscape of how we shop.
