Previously, when Aidee was asked about the origin and meaning behind the name, she responded: “It was originally going to be a comic series about ghosts, but I realized I didn’t have a lot of ideas for it. I just kept making comics about whatever I found funny, and kept the name.”
So, without further ado, we invite you to explore Aidee’s work and let us know what you think.

Bored Pandaonce again reached out to Aidee, who shared her biggest influences regarding comic style.

We were wondering how the creator herself would describe the essence or theme behind the cartoons to someone who’s never seen her work before. Aidee explained: “I’d like to think that most of my comics are just subversions of expectation, or putting a strange (and sometimes funny) twist on familiar concepts. My favorite subversion to pull on my readers is a genre switch. To take something that has the potential to make the readers laugh, but instead make them sad.”
We also asked Aidee to share what she hopes for audiences to take away from her comics.“If my audience forever changes how they see something in their life, I call that a win (for better or for worse). I personally find the best comics are the ones that I think of every time I do something,” wrote Aidee.

Feedback from followers is important, whether it’s criticism or praise. We asked the artist to share the most memorable feedback she received and how it impacted her work.“I run a yearly series called Horrorween, where I do horror comics throughout October. I get so many messages asking me if I’m doing it again every year as we get closer to October. I love how much people look forward to it and in turn, I’ve been planning it earlier with each year.”

Lastly, Aidee added: “I hope people enjoy reading my comics. I have a lot more funny comics planned, but right now, my priority is getting all my spooky comics done for October.”
