Jordi shared with us: “I started photographing weddings because my wife got tired of seeing me involved in fruitless film projects. I shot my first wedding and immediately got hooked. It’s hard to say how I keep the passion alive, but for me, emotions are one of the greatest things we have, and weddings are filled with them at their peak. Sharing this passion with other photographers also keeps me wanting more.”We were also curious about the most memorable wedding moment Jordi Tudela has ever captured. Here’s what he shared with us: “I vividly remember a groom watching his bride enter the ceremony. He happens to be one of my best friends, and I had told him that this is a moment when the groom’s heart can hardly bear the emotion, that he would never see his future wife as he would at that very moment. I also mentioned that many grooms tend to glance over at me for a brief second as if to find a momentary relief, and I often give them a little wink. The problem this time was that when he looked at me with his first tears, neither of us could hold back ours. It was special because I could see all of his feelings for his wife and experience them as his friend like never before. Witnessing and capturing that was truly magical.”When asked about the trends in wedding photography he is most excited about, Jordi responded: “I always try to do what I like and learn what I admire from others. I aim to create photos that I would personally love, and I let my emotions guide me in photography. This might mean I don’t follow trends 100% but instead adopt only what resonates with me. I always need a reason to incorporate something into my style—what it adds—because I’ve learned that anything that doesn’t add value detracts from it. And yes, I think every style has its charm.”Lastly, we asked the photographer which location he would choose if he could shoot a wedding anywhere in the world. He kindly shared: “I’ve been fortunate enough to shoot in several places around the world, so it’s hard to answer that. But maybe Costa Rica, as I’ve never been there, and my grandmother was born there. In fact, I’m currently working on making a trip there viable for work, so my answer would be Costa Rica.”See Also on Bored PandaSee Also on Bored Panda
